If the beard goes, Roy should at lease try a trimmed down variation, the goatee. For a geek that loves Star Trek, it would be a Spock’s goatee

I like a nice beard, my husband has one. But ROY’s hasgot to go!! It doesnt look good on him and I think “mangy” is a nice way of putting it.

I think a properly trimmed beard looks good on a bald man. This guy definitely needs to loose at least 6". He portrays Uncle Fester so well at Halloween. The light bulb was always one of my favorite gags.

@OLDPINE—There IS a 3rd kind…the kind that HAVE grown a beard, decided they do NOT like it and got rid of it. In reality it is Kathy’s decision (if Roy wants to stay happy and attached that is). If SHE is calling it mangy, then it will have to go anyway, regardless of what he wants.

He looks like an animal crawled up and died on his face. Blargh! I like a nicely trimmed beard just fine but that one? Get the Weed whacker Kathy!

if his girlfriend calls it “mangy” he’d better lose it. I don’t get to have one now because wife doesn’t like it.

Roy went as Uncle Fester on Halloween? ….. You know, without the glasses… he does, kinda look like Uncle Fester – but only if he shaves his entire head.

I agree that a “Riker”-style one would work on Roy.

BUT, would Kathy like it?

I vote less beard. :)I hope you give us a few examples to vote on ranging from eating a muppet to no beard with some nice options in between.
