I kind of like Knute. The dude is super relaxed, doesn’t take life too seriously. Stress kills, after all -and leads to a miserable existance.

Crystal and Knute go good together—-opposites attract.

Crystal has the right idea, but she is missing something. Doesn’t Knute need to get a credit card frim his parents? What if they say no? She didn’t even consider this. I would hate to be her husband!

Crystal is smart, and wise, as well as being a seriously hot babe. She has all the bases covered and now is going to reupholster Knute. I hope she makes him get a haircut, too. He could end up looking quite respectable by next weekend!

38lowell, in a previous strip Tiff asks Crystal that exact question. It turns out Crystal sees all of Knute’s good qualities. Personally, I think Crystal is the 2nd hottest babe in this strip, just ahead of Rosa. Not that I mind a week’s worth of Crystal, but JanBic is very correct.

This is closing on almost three months, June 12. The story lines are great. We need Luann in them. I hope to see her soon.

Yes. I like these two, but I have to agree that Luann, Bernice, & Delta have been missing for too long now. They are becoming like an exotic species that only make brief, unexpected appearances.

Clothing your guy attractively must stem from playing with dolls. Dressing them differently eg. Barbie & Ken. In my youth, girls could cut out doll clothes with tabs on the edges and fasten them on paper boy and girl drawings. Probably prepares girls to improve their self esteem by helping them clothe their mates in such a way that it shows they have good taste [and also have influence in his life]. Personally, I like to have my wife select my clothes [unless I rebel at some flashy colors]. I often ask her what she’d like to see me wear, because she has to look at me – and I don’t.

Knute’s approach to life should allow him to actually have some fun with Krystal and her fashion makeover. And that’s exactly the attitude that allows Krystal to be herself without conflict. They may be the perfect couple.

Now, if he could learn to draw lips that didn’t look like bird beaks…………

Actually the strip is Luann’s life and those around her. I find each mini episode more reality than fiction, and I believe some episode could be taking place at the same time. Way to go Mr. Evans!

Crystal & Rosa are the hottest. Toni is an Amazon, and Tiffany is just a Barbie doll. Ann is an erotic death wish.

Very happy to see Knute and Crystal for a while. I always enjoy story lines involving them as a couple.

That’s what the evolutionary psychologists would say, but I think they are out of date on this.

Modern women still want financial security but, in spite of the male/female pay gap most now can aim at getting their own financial security.

It would have been more appropriate to have Luann and friends paying respects at a cemetery honoring those that gave their all…

I like Crystal. She is more mature, and wittier.

I think she has a handicapped brother, which I can identify with.

I like Knute. Some of the smartest people I know, refuse to dress to suit other people. They just figure either people like or don’t like them and they’re OK with that.

Would have been nice if todays strip honored those who sacrificed for our country.

She cares what he looks like. that says something.

There is quite a bit of depth below Knutes surface show. Crystal sees it. Just as she too is more than her make up and clothes. What they have in common is they are both strong individuals.

I like Knute mainly because he doesn’t take much of anything seriously. He is a counterbalance to those who are too serious. I identify with him to some extent. What happened to his 3D glasses?

@ Leviticus – Crystal & Leslie?? Ugh! Crystal & Knute do seem like a couple. I used to know someone like Crystal – she could be very fun.

How real is Knute? At least he doesn’t view the world through rose-colored glasses. And Crystal needs comedy in her life.

I don’t miss Luann. In fact, I skip the week she is the subject of the strip. I would much rather read about anyone else in the strip but her. Her storylines were boring and predictable.

Tight high socks and shorts are kind of a great fashion if combined with a dress or skirt.

I think Luann’s kind of in a holding pattern with Quill – Greg can either have them break up, or move forward – and both of those actions are problematic. If they move forward, Luann has a successful relationship and she becomes Tiffany, as in having a hot boy on a string. If they break up, she’s boring old Luann again, only dumber for having tanked a promising relationship. .Talk about your lose/lose situations – I think Greg actuially has no idea what to do, so he’s doing other thihgs.

In Knute’s case, you better hope that he’s smoked more than his fair share of weed. To discover that anyone’s naturally that zoned out and oblivious would be pretty shocking.
