To the Medic that saved me, while dying himself, thank you. He was one of those that did not have to go, becuse he was a Seventh Day Adventist, but went willingly because it was (quote) “my duty, to God and to my Country.”

My grandfather fought in wwii. He survived d-day (to which he got a purple heart) and another famous battle I cant remember which (he got another purple heart). I would thank him but he died of a heart attack in 91

As a Viet Nam vet myself, I salute you for your kind rememberance. And let us not forget those who gave their all for our freedoms.

God bless all our troops.

Thank you for this touching tribute to those who sacrificed all, and more, to protect us and our freedom. We should NEVER forget.

God bless our troops, past, present & future. They & their families sacrificed a lot to keep our country free. I just pray that it stays that way despite the efforts to change that.
