Congrats tsull2121… As far as today’s strip, it feels like there’s a hole there. Who found the spy cam? I’m sure it’ll get patched up in future strips, but it seems like it’s jumping ahead.
Leonard could have helped find it: "The big screen TV at supervillain headquarters shows your squad room, and the field of view included . . . " The MCU could work backward from that.
Gotta love low tech. Why take a chance on glitch-prone high tech if not absolutely necessary?! Tracy’s looking good (panels 1 & 2) and thinking well today!
I agree with everybody today – great art, I especially like the profile of Tracy with his hat on! This new bit of information does seem a bit rushed. The new team does tend to have a lot of things happen “off stage”, so to speak, in order to hurry the story along. But, they are settling in to year two very well, and I can sense that the stories will only continue to improve.
I think Tracy and friends could figure out the location of the spy cam without Leonard since they could see the cam’s images themselves. Love the old fashioned bubble gum solution.
I’ve noticed before when there was a hole in the plot that the Sunday strip sometimes explained it. This is what I’m wondering…if the mole at HQ realizes that someone put something on his camera lens then he should realize the jig is up and they’ll be watching for someone to show up to remove it, thereby implicating him/her self. I’d like to think he/she is smarter than that.
A spy with any reasonable IQ would question the bubble gum as having been deliberatly placed there. Now, something like a spider web (with a spider just happening to be at the critical focus) might not look as suspicious. Don’t spycams also have audio?
