Ah…I love this series of strips…the time jumpers….nearly as much as I love the Transmogrifier. I think I love Calvin and Hobbes because it takes me back to the unfettered imagination of childhood and so many possibilities….nothing’s impossible…and everything is pure.

Are tigers qualified to be service animals? I am qualified for a service animal, and have been considering a Percheron, but a tiger would be really cool, and would eliminate my neighbors’ objections to a 22h Percheron pony.

I’ve told you posters a thousand times that poster HOBBES is Bill Watterson in disguise. He denies it, but I’m not convinced.

I don’t remember a strip with Hobbes and no humans! Isn’t this unique? or, at least, extremely rare?

I love that Peanuts strip, Hobbes. I also remember a Sunday strip where Linus boilt a snow sculpture of Lucy so he could watch it melt.

Can’t wait to see his teacher’s reaction !

Well! . . . We finally found out how Bill does it. I wonder how he got a box big enough to travel in. . . . And did Hobbes write for him too.

I want a pet Hobbes… My Tigger just doesn’t do anything.

Love this strip. I know a few people Hobbes could draw that would resemble that picture.

Hobbes is getting ahead of himself. He starts drawing illustrations before he has written any of the story. What’s the story on that?

@Puddleglum: Yes, it’s almost as if Hobbes is getting two hours ahead of himself.

@Number Two: Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m not Bill Watterson. It’s a common misconception. Often when people see someone on the street who looks exactly like Hobbes, they mistake him for Bill Watterson.

What would Calvin’s parents think if they walked in their boy’s room and saw two stuffed tigers there? There would be some a lot of explaining to do!

Isn’t it amazing how some people will expend twice the effort in trying to evade a task as they would have in simply doing it?

Hobbs writing a story about Calvin? It may not be a tall tail.

I am taking Supply Chain Management and American Beginings in 6 week course of Undergraduate Studies…Two Hobbes would go down real easy for me!!!!

My dog has 2 stuffed tigers: Tony and Tigger. I’ve never seen any evidence that they’ve ever actually “talked” to her but then, I’ve also never seen any evidence to the contrary that they haven’t and don’t either!
