Honey: So on behalf of a grateful nation, I'd like to present this handsome plaque to... what's this? Oh, dear, it appears no one from the Romney camp was available to attend today! Is there anyone here who can accept the people's gift on Mr. Romney's behalf? Roland: I can! I'm from Fox News! Honey: Excellent! Come on up, sir!

What happens if no-one responds to the trolls, the people who post inflammatory flames here?
(The question has nothing to do with LWP’s comment above.)

The GOP feels that gifts from the Chinese government are unacceptable.

“I can. I’m from Fox News” could be the punchline to lotsa good jokes. Just write your own set-up.

re: “trolls” posting comments, isn’t expressing one’s opinions and GT able to create his droll, witty strip one of the inherent rights we just celebrated yesterday? And who decides who is a “troll”, anyway?
As to the strip, Roland, Roland, Roland!

Hey, Fauxers, go whine on the fat blimp’s strip, this one’s for calm, compassionate left-wingnuts.

Study after independent study has shown that while ABC, NBC, CNN and CBS aren’t as far to the right as Fox, they’re well to the right of center and well to the right of the majority of the American public. So you’re right; they’re all propaganda organs… just not in the direction you believe them to be.

Until this series of strips, I had no idea that Mitt Romney created communist China. Or that anyone would advance such an idiotic argument.

This comment on trolling and party political opinion was removed by myself because it not only approached titanic proportions, but would have probably offended most everyone here including myself.

“You are right. That is where Barry gets his illegal money form.”This sounds like a lie from the Koch Brothers, creators of the “Tea Party”.

This is one of the best story lines GT has ever done. Hilarious and very astute. On point. The only other channel that Obama has is Current and no one knows where that is except a few of us. MSNBC is definitely not 100% liberal. Joe Scarborough, SE Cupp and a few others are on there. Also, they fired their biggest liberal voice, Keith Olbermann. KO didn’t work out at Current either but the fact remains that he is no longer at MSNBC even though he was their biggest draw.
montessoriteacher over 12 years ago
And don’t think that the liberals on Current back Obama 100% either. Liberals don’t fall in line with whatever they are told in the same way that conservatives do. Obama gets tons of criticism from the left. Tune in to Cenk Uygur and check it out. Bill Maher also has plenty of criticism on Obama even though he backs Obama over Romney.

“Funny, I am TEA Party. I have never seen one dime from them.”lol, lol . . . The Tea Party is funded – politically and organizationally – by “Americans for Prosperity”, and “Americans for Prosperity” is funded by the Koch brothers.David Koch himself says: “Five years ago my brother Charles and I provided the funds to start the Americans for Prosperity.”Who do you think is paying for all the rallies, the advertising, the political campaigns; the attack ads, Guard . . . you?

What a waste of paper and human space!

It is not really liberals vs. conservatives. It is aristocracy vs. democracy. The aristocracy invented liberal vs. conservatives in order to keep us fighting with each other.
montessoriteacher over 12 years ago
If someone really thinks that Doonesbury is a waste of paper and human space, why would they read it, let alone come to a website and comment on it? You would think one could use one’s time more constructively than that…

What do the trolls on this site think they are accomplishing? Do they just want an outlet for their drivel?

Gee, “Sarge”, if you didn’t get your cut you’d better beat it over to Dick “Armey” and demand it. Everone else got theirs.
“Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey – avoided the draft, did not serve” (from awolbush.com)

Most of the wrongwingers are truly funny, but being a polite American I don’t laugh directly at personal problems they can’t help.
I am working on being able to preserve them in their almost-living glory…I think maybe amber,or perhaps verithane will work.

No, I didn’t support AWOL Bush, your hero, nor McCain, who, though a lousy pilot, did serve. However, he would have sent us into the Second Great Depression, as would Willard.

Yeah Sarge, everyone knows where your head was when you were born.

I see "sarge’ missed my point. I freely admit that I could never win an debate with a pigeon. It would be foolish to even try. On the other hand, I am not among those who characterize him as a “troll”. I have no doubt that he sincerely believes everything he spews on this forum. There is no amount of evidence, however compelling or overwhelming, that could ever change his mind. His viewpoints are immutable. As I said, an interesting pathology.
kaffekup over 12 years ago
“Sarge”, you haven’t proved anything, busted any myths. Just because you believe your BS doesn’t mean anybody outside your institution does.

It’s funny because the only thing that liberals and Democrats love more than their hatred of Fox News is talking about their hatred of Fox News.
