Yknow there IS a kids train in my city and a liquor store about eight blocks straight west of it. Hmmmmm

None of the site’s strips are showing up for some viewers – at least half the viewers if the comments are any indication. Lio, Chickweed, Argyle Sweater and several others. If you go to the previous day, those strips are visible so obviously it’s a GoComics problem (and one that they’ve had previously). Need I say I’m getting pretty sick of it? My spam quotient has gone up 3 fold since I subscribed to my daily comics. If I have to put up with that, the site had better well work.

I’m not seeing it either. This is the second time that’s happened this week. What has changed?

Try St. Johns, New Foundland: every second business on the main drag is a bar; and they open early Sunday morning, very early Sunday morning. And they have plenty of customers!

My suggestion to improve THIS neighborhood is to send Rat to art school. Danny Donkey has Pig’s nose and nothing of donkey in him.

Maybe Danny Donkey could give GoComics a hand with repairs.

I lived in the south part of Milwaukee for a while in the 1970’s. There were no “Business opportunities”. Five blocks? Not a chance.

I love Danny Donkey! I don’t like all of these refenences to beer and stuff though. Overall though, Pearls is an amazing comic :D

There is a small steam train that runs in Toronto’s Roundhouse Park. Also in Roundhouse Park, a stone’s throw from the mini-train depot, is Steam Whistle Brewing (complete with tasting room). Hmmmm…did Stephan know about this?!?

When I saw the 4th panel I thought Rat must actually be making a decent book for once, but panel 9…I can’t stop laughing XD

Can’t wait for Danny to realize that, now that he’s apparently spent all of his money rebuilding the train to take him to the liquor store, he can’t afford to buy liquor.
