Neo-vampirism is just the least of Stiletta’s dastardly scheme. Nonetheless, I sure hope the MCU moves quickly, before she begins to inflict her sick revenges on our jut-jawed hero. She is freaky-deaky!

To Jim Doherty: the remorse over having killed poor Skinny who LOVED him drove Flattop Jr mad. The ghost of Skinny was symbolic (and why 88 Keyes, Spots and Haf and Haf didn’t have the ghosts of their victims persecuting them? )

After watching what Moon Maid did with that thugs gun, I’d love to see what she could do with Stiletta’s knives. That would be fun.

Great to see the Jones clan together. I wonder if we’ll see Blowtop again. As I recall, we last saw him around the strip’s 50th anniversary in 1981..For those who are interested, I’ve updated the list of returning Dick Tracy characters.

Does anyone have an idea of the significance of the heart shaped logo that Stilletta wears on her outfit? I noticed it right at her first appearance, and it is still there. Must mean something.

So, is she going to slowly bleed him to death? DT’s foes all seem to have a flair for the dramatic.

9:43qam and i’m number 28.. not bad lol. is it just ME or does angeltop look a LOT like linda gray in that last panel? lol! looks lke the one thing that all the jones’ genetic family have in commoon is that chin.. tho angeltop’s cant be seen in this pic… and the eyes as well. as for moon maid, i want it to be angeltop in disguise.. the bandages being a result of plastic surgery to make her look like moon maid.

Mike - if you’re out there -Question: is “Moon Maid” in the next story, or is this another tease like when Davey explored the wreckage of George Alpha’s home – a set-up that took several stories to develop?

I just thought of something – it shouldn’t take Tracy too long to realize that something is amiss. In a real hospital, there are shift changes. He’s been seeing the same “orderly” ever since he got there. And, is anyone coming in to take his vitals once every eight hours? Where’s the nurse? Hmmm.

When they announced that Joe Staton would be taking over this strip, I was thrilled because his style is just right for Tracy. I was 100% right! That last panel is pure gold!

Jeesh! I haven’t seen a blood-draining scenario like this since the horror comics of the 50’s! Awesome story Mike! Great art Joe!

First to arrive on the scene is her daughter, Angeltop in her ‘masked crusader’ costume dressed as Moon Maid. .Now that she has shot up the town, still yet to reveal her true identity, it’s time to bring back POPS and dearest Brother back from the grave. I just think the crooks are pretty stupid not to just kill him if that is their intent. Now we all know he will escape and thwart their plans. Hollywood happy ending……

well of course he will escape….otherwise there’d be no more Dick Tracy comic strip, lol. But what WOULD be nice is if it can happen without yet another “shootout” ending, as with the Mr. Crime group, Blackjack, Flyface, etc, it’s kind of getting too predictable. I do realize there are “time” constrainments placed on the length of Mike and Joe’s stories, but it always seems the endings to these great storyline build-ups end up rushed because of it. Even in ones without that type of ending it happens….with Mrs. Pruneface in the old days, Tracy engineered a slow, ingenious escape to avoid getting his mid-section cut…….with kadaver, Junior just walked in and pushed him away. So I’m hoping the intro of Moon Maid (or I suspect someone imitating her) involves her helping rescue Dick, otherwise there’s even less time left for a bang-up ending to the Stiletta epic. All that said, I don’t want to be one of those people who sees 99 things being done great, and one that maybe there’s room for improvement on, and just comment on the latter, so……THUMBS UP TO A SUPERB STRIP, MIKE AND JOE!

Okay, I can understand her wanting revenge on Tracy for what happened to her kids, but why Flattop? I thought she left him.
