    WOw, he is giving her a short time to talk, probably. Maybe she will tell All!I don’t know but whatever she does or says, it will be interesting!

    But he just said " I can’t hold you together indefinitely". That doesn’t sound promising….:-(

    No surf, no smile, no surprise. He knows her condition, and he knows what lies ahead. Jenner hit this nail square on the head yesterday. This ain’t gonna be pretty…

    I’m getting to dislike the Marx character. He needs some limitations like the real people in the strip.

    Nope, no smile. It’s just the way his hair meets his collar. I thought it was a smile at first also.

    The artwork in the last two panels is superb! Flask’s butt never looked better!. Yeah, I know, I’m a dirty old man. But hey, it’s life ok?

    So maybe my guess about Marx rigging the gun was right? And maybe it was a test? And I can’t understand why anyone would be pleased this homicidal psycho is still alive. How many people has she killed since she vaporized her two employees in her own office? And after those two, she coldly asked for a cleanup.

    rickD, why are people pleased she is alive? Well she’s the only thing protecting Endtown. Of course they could all just give up to the Topsiders that way they wouldn’t have to sully their hands killing people. God save us from pacifists.

    Everyone is proclaiming Flask to be alive. I think the next chapter in her story will be about how she isn’t. Marx was keeping her corporial, and now he’s letting her go. She’s dead, and it’s worse than a hangover.

    Whoa, Flask did survive! Now what happens next? And what this about AM saying “holding her together”?

    I agree with coyot and golden. Marx says “should have saved you” which should mean he did NOT save Flask. If we are to relive her past, I wonder how far back we’ll go? I don’t recall if it’s clearly stated bit it’s hinted that Flask and Wally have history. She picked knew Wallechinsky by name before the topside mission. I thought she had something to do with Wally’s flashback… and maybe she was the one who forced him on the raid against the family. Maybe we’ll see things from topsider POV since Flask was one. For the most part they’ve just been the “evil stormtroopers” with hoods making them expressionless.

    Wow. “Should have saved” and “can’t hold you together” are not very promising at all. I present you Flask, the walking zombie…. :(

    “Should have saved you” and “Can’t hold you together indefinitely” doesn’t sound good. Is she Zombie Flask and something like her arm’s gonna fall off at some point? ;3;

    There is a scant chance of it being surprise in Panel 4 but no, I don’t think that is a smile in Panel 2, just his mouth and hair conspiring.

    Seems that Marx has been holding Flask in “purgatory”. His statements that she was so keen on dying in panel 2 and that he can’t hold her together indefinitely in panel 3 support that.

    I agree with the others who think that we’ll now get her back story.

    In the past some made the observation that Wally had a tail but Flask didn’t. Look at panels 3 and 4. It seems that she in fact does have a tail but it is not a long one as Wally has but rather a “nub” as is found on the Manx cat.

    Rather goes together when you think about it. Flask IS drawn with the aspect of being a “minx”. Whether AN meant this to be the case or not……it’s an amusing concept. ;-)
