What is it with captain on a sinking ship?
Call for Buddy Threadgood!
Yes she is.
Mom sure took the fun out of that dream. But when you get in you late teens you can do all these fun things with out Moms OK.O boy!!
Calvin may grow up to use those famous last words: “Hold my beer—watch this!”
can i play with you ? _..
Good suggestion Mom!!!
When I was six or seven a RR cop caught me on the tracks and took me home. Mom was not happy.
Hey Calvin, why don’t you help your mom with the laundry instead of bothering her with stupid questions.
parachuting out of airplanes is fun and sometimes a job…ask the 82nd airborne and the 101st airborne.
I had not thought of that. Scary if true.
Skydiving really isn’t dangerous
You can’t just say these things to this kid!
Remember…it’s not the jump that kills you…it’s the sudden stop!
If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Toying with death? Well, he only has two toys (Hobbes and his own imagination); I guess another toy wouldn’t hurt…too much.
Not too funny. A story from my local paper just this month:http://www.timesonline.com/news/local_news/remembering-josh-a-daredevil-known-for-his-smile/article_f94adcea-98ce-556d-aad1-912108682e65.html
Mom has a one track mind.
LOL LOL… Practical but wise.

See if you can meet Teddy Duchamp.
It’s more like sarcasm, but Calvin wouldn’t know the difference. That could be dangerous. IE: If your friends jumped off a bridge, etc.
@Karaboo2,I’m following your train of thought. Calvin might have to be side-tracked “Somewhere Along the Way”.
Anyone remember the Little Rascals (Sundown Express?) where they got bored and went to the rail yards to play?
Maybe he can learn to hanglide…
AIRBORNE!!
Boy, sometimes that woman is the world’s worst mother.
She should have told him to practice with a sheet and the garage roof. Ya … I did that.
Jumping of the garage roof is good, too.
Or you could join the army.
I asked that of my mom when I was a kid….that was over 400 skydives ago. :)
They have to be Calvin. They have to be.
He tried to “shock” her, but she knows him so well, she’s a step ahead of him and shocked him right back!
My mom used to tell me to go play on the freeway with a box of razors and a bag over my head.I never got around to it.
not really a good thing to say to your child
funny.
Of all the ways to toy with death That’s among the safest and still one heck of a thrill.
