Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
My cousin(who is 10 years younger), got through the public school system by reading âabridged young-adultâ editions and comic book editions of the books he was assigned to read by his teachers. You know the ones â they took âTom Sawyerâ and made it into a little square book with about 100 pages ⊠" Frankenstein" was a comic book series â all of 5 comic books. The public school system is a âfeel goodâ system teaching zilch.
We did have a College history teacher who spoke of the âModrenâ eraâand an English teacher with an outrageous Hungarian accent (he came to the West in 1956 as a young adult) but they were both good teachers and very intelligent men.

Itâs the schoolsâ and the systemâs fault, they havenât kept up with the rapid developments in English Language Variations and Change.
