How about a cockerdoodle? But then they’d have to pick up the cockerdoodle do.

We used to call ‘em mutts or oopsies and give ’em away. Now you have to pay $1000+ for one ’cuz they’re “designed”.

They could go to the pound and get a dog. And Pcolli, you’re right, a labradoodle is a mutt – a very over-priced one, but a mutt, none the less.

I wonder if this half-poodle will look anything like Dusty from Big Top.

Get a Rescue dog/cat. All ours are, and I believe we’re the happiest family in town.

Labradoodles are ugly. :p Just get a lab plain and simple. Maybe she’s on petfinder??? That’s where we found our last dog…He was from a rescue in our state. :)

One time I would have agreed with Adam. Then a little poodle wandered (really) into the home and stayed. Great critter!

I know a lot of men who thought poodles were girly dogs … until they owned one.

Standard poodles, yes; but toy and miniature are just the result of breeding for fashion.

Kind of knew this one Biker dude who came in where I worked. Rough and tough, but you should have seen him with his little poodle! Big old teddy bear with her! LOL!

When I was a kid, we got a puppy that was half aussie shepherd and half lab. She was free. they didn’t have designer dogs back then.

Ditto! Of course, some haven’t been rescued from shelters, some have been rescued from running wild and being abandoned. Or from being mistreated by neighbors. But rescues none the less. And each and every one, cat or dog, have been the BEST.
