Is this a happy ending?? I sure hope not. We need some more pride in her stride. Shoulders back, head high, sneer or so. Well may be not. Blessed Be

It’s “Flask Week” at the Endtown Auction Block.. As requested: Flask in an evening gown. Ya ain’t gonna see it in the strip, folks. Also, a moody little image culled from last Friday’s strip. As always, huge thanks to all who participate and help keep Endtown alive in the process.

And on that day, Captian Flask was born…And as she makes her way through her rodent army, a strange thought occurs to me……Were all those troopers sleeping on the job during the Great Mutation?

The security rats bring to mind the weekend’s weaponry discussion. Where did they get those teeny tiny guns? How can they afford to be so wasteful with their ammunition? Wouldn’t Endtown have a limited supply?

Now to the strip. OMG.Can see her bio on the Endtown IT network. Single disturbed female with slight augmentation. Seeking answers to questions and more questions needing answers. Interrogation and desintegration possible. May explode on contact, slight aggitation, or just because. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.Oh and I have a rat army just in case. Trigger happy little buggars. But they do have a code.

That is what I noticed it was more British empire type. Except the one on the far left with the nose then the hand. It appears as if using that infamous salute except left handed. It appears like that it just the way it was cut on the border.

The term you probably mean is “synanthropic”. A number of animal species owe the extent of their range to the use of the specialized ecology surrounding humans. I’ve seen one study that suggests the infamous Brown Recluse spider is synanthropic—extending far beyond its natural range because it likes living in houses.

To Darwinskeeper.Little guns. High velocity pellet guns. Small bb’s fired at 500 to 600 feet per second. Gas power in canister stored in hand grip. ORRRR.Found a stash of 22 shorts. You know for “short people” Small stature rats who can’t handle recoil.Saw a bumper sticker one time. A marine was asked what he felt when he shot bad guys. He stated RECOIL.

To crookedwolf.Good view. And how did Anarkin Skywalker become Darth Vader? LOVE TOO MUCH. Came to the point of obsession. Flask is showing symptoms of that malaise. That was a very good analogy. Cue John Williams.

Read the weekend posts. My home internet was out till late Sunday. Their problem not mine.To Three Steps Over Japan about projectile penetration.Ever seen what a 50 caliber Barrett rifle is capable of at 1500 yards. Steel tip penetrator. 3/4 steel plate then splay the interior with frags. In Iraq (was episode on Military Channel) One shot, three insurgents throught a concrete wall. 800 meters. As I am fond of saying “Nothing but chunks.” The 338 Lapua round. Light recoil I mean no more than a 5.56. Shreds body armor at a 1000 meters. Suppression on it. All you hear is the bullet whizzing then the thup of impact and a red mist in the air. And the guy standing next to you now lying on the ground with the strangest look on his face. Worried about recoil on Holly. We use to demonstrate the M16 light recoil by holding the butt against our chin and full auto 30 rounds out in about 3 seconds. She could handle that recoil. But as you said its been years since the war began. That stuff does disappear if used up. Ray weapons only need recharging or winding. Projectile weapons need powder, primers, copper, lead, steel. That is why I say.Always make sure you got plenty of ammo. Stockpiling is not a bad thing. It is the only thing.Survival Training for Today. Questions?

I love Mallard’s expression in panels 1 and 2. Very skeptical. He has extremely flexible eyebrows.

“Reminds me of Stephan Colbert’s eyebrows. (or maybe Groucho’s)”Mallard would make a great Groucho. Except that no one around him would be able to tell the difference. They’d be terrified to ask if he was just kidding with his commands… (“To War!”)

I know no one may read this with an hour left before the new installation, but my day is ending and I have to get up in seven hours. I do want to say one thing I noticed was how very human the Professor’s eyes appear. They’re not out of proportion with the head like most other characters. He’s egotistical, but very humane. That’s what make him a hero in his own way. Good night to anyone who reads this.
