Miles seems to forget one important thing: students don’t determine who goes to S.E. or not. The teachers do. Even if they get Kevin out of that class, Mrs. Campbell would just send him back.

All those so-called Norms can really get you down.

For some reason, I see Carla(?) as being an instigator. Thinking she is doing good without any thought of consequences.

Are we rescuing Kevin or not?! Come on! It’s almost lunchtime! We need a answer now!

Hippie teachers can be fun to mess with…wouldn’t be surprised if Kevin figures that out eventually.

Years ago, some students would show up for my class laughing about the previous class, so I finally asked them what was so funny. Turns out, they were taking an English Lit class as an elective and had discovered that the prof was an old hippie and devout communist. So, the guys would look for a chance to get her off topic and she would spend the rest of class ranting about the evils of capitalism and the glories of communism. They thought it was hilarious.

Personally, I would prefer discussing classic English literature more than listening to a political rant, but I guess they enjoyed the challenge of winding her up…
