I’m fine with the relaxed clothes, but what’s with the shrunken bird? I was cooking a 24 pounder when it was just me… but I like leftovers.

Happy Thanksgiving! IF the whole family pitched in to make the meal, it might be better. It shouldn’t all be down to one woman or man..

I always envision Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc, as 1950’s Norman Rockwell kinds of times. When they get here, it’s Far Side time. But we’re family and I love it.

my “significant other” and I always fix at least a 20 pounder for the two of us – and no we’re not that fond of turkey, but after I finish cleaning the kitchen – she cooks, then I clean – we have asubstantial amount of meat to share with our three dogs, who enjoy the break from chicken and hamburger mixed in with their dry food…
