My third poem about about pigs…

Bacon.

They named their twins Mustard and Relish.

Mmmmmmmmm……..cold cooked bacon.

I haven’t made those in a long time. Hmmm….I have crescent roll dough and sausages in the freezer. Maybe dinner tonight.

Which is why we sleep European style. Each has their own duvet and are able to snuggle and stay warm.

Decades ago I got a “Piggy in the Blanket” recipe from a friend and have made it ever since. The Sweet N Sour flavor is fabulous! Make piggies per usual, but the sauce is Vernors Ginger-ale and Hunts Ketsup ! (Has to be Vernors!)

I was afraid to make it but my family loves it! Try it! You’ll Like it!

Hey! I’m freezing here! Move that pork butt over or I’ll have you fried in in a pan and serve you to the farmers family!

I have some mini corn dogs in the freezer. They will have to do.

Is Piggly Wiggly still in business? I remember my mom shopping there in the early ‘90s, but haven’t seen one in years.
