Tracy solves the case, it appears. But… where is the Pig on Wheels? Poor Fee Fi! He’s still on top of the cage with bullet wounds!

This is the part where the smart detective gets all the suspects together in the same room and reveals the solution to the mystery. Except there wasn’t any mystery.

Hog wash, I say! Tracy suddenly finds his gun, suddenly gets his ‘brave’ on, and suddenly ‘solves’ the case… Pure hog wash!

What’s Dick going to charge the tiger with?

I’m pretty sure common gun safety practice, as well as proper police procedure, dictate that it’s bad form to wave your gun around when talking to people.

Say, howcome every single installment isn’t being tagged with “Hey Rube?”

I betcha as the criminals exit the tent in handcuffs, Tracy follows, to be greeted by Tess and Bonnie Braids saying, “We’ve been worried sick, thank heavens you’re ok!”.

And… hopefully, with the Pig on Wheels in the background.

Bonnie Braids would have been braver than Dick Tracy through much of this arc. Now he’s got bravery again. I have to second Marg’s “Hogwash”, and maybe follow it with “Codswallop”.

I shall third Marg’s ‘Hogwash’ and Michael McMillan’s ‘Codswallop’ with my own ‘Balderdash’

Where did tracy get three hands with guns?

The sad thing is that we have another week and a half of this mess.

Only a week and a half? What’s the hurry? Oh well, at least we can get excited about a new story arc!

I wonder what it will be?

When does Macy read them their Miranda rights? The evidence on Ringo is pretty thin, wouldn’t you say?

DT has the same gun in all three panels and does a different cop read them their rights?

More than pretty thin “morrow” ! I’d say nonexistent ! Making charges on “guess” and at best squeaky thin, unreliable HEARSAY!**

On Mr.Pops, YES!evidence solid and with witnesses.

On Barb Els, that’s a Tracy lie. Mr.Pops was the one who claimed it was Barb Els did the shooting And there is no evidence, no weapon for ballistics, not even believable “hearsay”.

On Ringo engaging in “blackmail”, where is the EVIDENCE? And what were they blackmailed for ?

First time I’ve ever seen margueritem annoyed and with her feathers up !

Sounds more like an Agatha Christie re-write

Brave no arsse now, behind a gun! All the heebie- jeebies, helplessness and cowardice gone. Now flashing plenty backbone with two sets of police “backup” standing right behind him.

And with all the sudden style and braggadocio, Tracy on a high in his intuitive “guess-o-rama” moment, still hasn’t identified WHO hired “hit” woman Louise Trapeze to kill Ringo. Locher never knew or cared !

One month in, we all knew this would be the sort of flawed and “cluttered” ending we would get.

At least Ringo has stopped sweating.

I just can’t wait to open up Dick Tracy every morning…Thanks a million

Perhaps Tracy isn’t “waving his gun around”, but is rather holding 3 guns simultaneously. It would be more in keeping with the absurdity of this strip.

It’s kind of staggering to see this story finally wrapping up, and to realize after all this waiting that the interesting part is not, in fact, coming.

Same gun Tracy could have used to shoot the tiger instead of wetting his pants.

Come to think of it, Macy’s only case is against Pops. The rest is heresay. I think we saw Barb’s rifle at one time. They need to do a ballistics match to make that work. But then, he’s got to prove she fired the shot.

I’d rather spend my money on a nice gift for the pig on wheels.

This strip reminds me of the end of Clue. In the end they’re all guilty and Tim Curry ends up getting shot. Though in this case, I keep seeing Tracy as Tim Curry. 1+2+1+1!
