Needs to be chopped up a bit to fit in the coal chute?

Looks like they’ve done this “dinner date” routine before. (Wonder how many times.)BTW – The colors here are much better than on ComicsKingdom, especially like the job on Lena, which makes her look more menacing and realistic. (I say this as someone who used to criticize the colors here.)

Like Rhodent with that unfortunate animal shop employee or Panda with Tonsils. Hope Silver ends up like Doc Hump!

I wonder what details can be “worked out”, with a corpse…?

Anybody else think that is a strange location for a coal chute? Don’t they usually have a chute entrance on the outside of the building that goes to a location inside near the furnace?

Miles Mycroft will go down on the list of Missing Persons who have never been found, right there with Jimmy Hoffa. Garrotted, hashed out (a euphemism for grisly butchery, one may suppose), and fed to Lena Hyena.Popcorn, anyone?

Trying to remember the Killian strip a few years back w/ the bird gang. What did they have in that over-sized birdcage set-up— a tiger?

Ashmael: You remember Rhodent? Isn’t he the guy who had the huge nose, bigger than Mole’s? Ran around in women’s clothing – though probably because he was trying to abduct a girl named Fatty. Tried to escape Tracy by smashing his car on the back of a freight train. Died when car caught fire. Circa 1959..That arc ran almost a year!

Some people have asked for Tracy to go back to “gritty detective work.” Don’t know how “gritty” this is, but I agree with Ashmael: It sure is grisly!

Story telling: Why the “pause” from yesterday? As of yesterday’s installment, I figured on a “cut-away” or something else today. By returning to moments after yesterday’s rather dramatic developments, is Mike suggesting that perhaps Miles still has a chance to escape?

    Good morning everyone…

Milder temperatures (one day only) ! I can go out!It appears that Silver and Sprocket live on a popcorn diet, but Lena is still a (fresh) meat eater! Now I understand why I purchased two big bags of popcorn last week!

The curtain has dropped on Miles’ last performance. The corpse of Miles is being turned into hash. That’s what’s for dinner for Lena. Good, gristly fun from Team Tracy.

I love the way Mike timed this story out:Vitamin and Mary at MCU HQ, then in the theatre, and driving home – all low-keyed, normal, non-threatening. (To the point some complained about it being too slow!)Then Miles makes a phone call, the menace begins, and —a murder as grisly as any Chet Gould wrote!Suddenly Silver goes from being a wealthy eccentric film collector to con man & killer.Great story!

On “Deadwood,” Al Swearengen used Mr. Wu’s hogs for corpse disposal.

Betting perhaps Dick ends up rescuing Vitamin from a feeder cage or something? Hyena would love him because he’s such a ham, right?

Not to nitpick but under a stage in an auditorium seems to be an unlikely place for a coal chute.
