ZOUNDS….Mr. Bribery is back on the scene…..and it appears his minion Cole is very inefficient which when working for Bribery usually proves fatal.

…….the car ends up at Tracy’s pals……what are the odds, lol? Hmmmm…..gonna need a scorecard to keep track of everybody in THIS story……and seeing how Bribery was putting contracts out on the Apparatus, he doesn’t figure to be joining them….

Okay, loose ends tied up.Now we won’t wonder what future use Bribery has for the air car.And we know that he’s still fairly close to Tracytown.Could he be considering a move on Notting, and his crew? With those sock-puppet masks they wear, Cole could be a part-time employee spying on them for Mr. Bribery.

That was your reference yesterday, to the theft of $4 Billion in cash organized by the newly constituted “Apparatus Gang”Yet oddly, it was *that Newspaper Headline that “electrified” the story, and got things moving !A Major Crime that to date - (puzzlingly?) has been consistently ignored !

Jerryjohn52’s worry - yesterday afternoon was a concern of too many THREADS “bouncing around” at the same time and obscuring ‘important information’ in the process.And what do we have (first) Monday Morning but yet another Thread. Bribery returns before the , ‘current one gets fully started . . .We have a JIGSAW Puzzle forming here ?I’m not optimistic, but by weekend - perhaps we’’ll hear who ‘survived’ and who died ?.It also remains unclear, what those arrested were ‘charged’ for as most were unaware that Bribery had the Gold !Stupidly, some fired at police for no apparent reason !

In the Current Larger Picture everything / everyone seems geared to follow the Goggles to Cuba (?) . . .Not to find the $4 Billion or the Apparatus Master Minds who stole, and STILL have the cash !

Not Tracy’s next case (as Bonnie speculated) but rather ‘twiddling off’ to a Detectives Conference ! ??

Too many plots at once

Ah.Bribery is back.(I still miss Kitty on his shoulders, though.)

Today’s strip is loaded with potential for a Gouldian sequence:B.O. thinks, “This thing says ‘Police’ on it – I’d better go down to Felton’s Barbershop and call my friend ‘Macy’.”Tracy and Sam come out and see that it is an air car, realize that Bribery stole one for his escape, and search the area for clues. They find something that leads them to Bribery’s current lair. Action ensues.We will see if the current team Tracy makes use of this potential, or if they wander off in another direction and leave this hanging.

I look at that last panel and I’m thinking Samuel L Jackson in Goodfellas. I’m guessing Mr. Bribery will be making a call to Joe Pesci soon.

Today’s is a perfect strip. Kudos Team Tracy.

Aitch Bea Dee, Gwee Dough!Sorry to see the marvelous Air Car abandoned. Seems foolish to toss out the technology that allowed you to escape. Tracyville is a complex city with many interesting people and places. A glimpse of Sunny Dell Acres and the infamous Bribery is a very good day in my book. I am not at all bothered by the fact that we have a few threads to follow. Nor am I disappointed that the bank heist is not the main story. Tracyville is a big city. I assume the crime scene was quickly secured and any evidence cataloged. It should be in the hands of the Feds, with the possibility of Trailer being in charge. The Apparatus is back on top, but Bribery is not one to be underestimated. Very pleased that he is back. Elsewhere, Specs and Spicy are headed to Cuba. All kinds of fun to be had in this strip.

@Maximara“Supervillian” doesn’t means superhuman powers; just look at the Riddler, the Joker, the Penguin (who has been hinted as being Broadway Bates’ brother), and Two Face.

To some people it does mean superhuman powers. That’s why I asked.

@Jerryjohn52 gave a good summary. I have nothing more to add.“The moon people have super powers so there were super powered people in the strip. Some would consider the Moon Governor to be a villain in the beginning. Then there was Putty Puss who had somewhat of a super power to alter his face. Since Annie has entered the strip there are now more supernatural beings: Punjab, Great Am, for example. And, of course, Honeymoon and Mysta Chimera have powers. Most of these are not villains but they do have powers.”

It would be a Great Trash Can.

Hey, Gweedo! I thought I would catch your reply here. I didn’t actually trek across the desert to wish you a Happy Birthday. But you’re very welcome!-No, No, No… According to you “Yankees” it’s us who supposedly drives on the “wrong side of the road” -Thanks for your support though. One thing I hate is the jokes about women drivers. But I wouldn’t mind if you made one. After all, I’m not driving yet.-I hope you had a wonderful birthday. If you don’t get back to me on here, I’ll look on tomorrow’s strip.

OMG! The smugly ineffectual Cole looks so much like a former colleague of mine from before I retired! I do hope B.O. does contact Tracy (or at least the MCU office) to complain about the flooding of Sunny Dell Acres and the incidental finding of that “Police” trash-can contraption….

Yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me if he had removed the engine for another use. Anyway, it’s hard to say what he’s up to but I think he has some time to develop a plan because I expect he’s not going to be too involved in this story or the next or maybe the one after that. On the other hand, all of the ongoing characters we’re expecting in upcoming stories have connections to him, so he could turn up in either or both of those.

Seems odd to me that Mr. Bribery would give up such a useful tool. Then again, he should have had it reverse engineered years ago.
