Oh I see. I had to submit the comment for the symbol to appear. What if I actually wanted a c in parentheses? I wonder how you would achieve that in these comments?
So, Homicide detectives are not good enough for Simon Stagg in corrupt Mayor Armstrong’s view, but the Major Crimes Unit has to become involved? This is A) because she has lost a big, if shady, donor; B) has it in for Tracy and wants to screw him in every possible way (crash his vacation; maybe see him fail in this investigation); C) can’t afford to have her political standing compromised by bad publicity about the death of a member of the city’s Elite.
But we are not really sure whether Simon is dead (puffer-)fish dead as yet. We have only the newspaper headline to go by. Fake news? Maybe Simon is only in a death-like state and Ghost wants to see him buried alive (foregoing any autopsy, as applied influence could bring about): that would be a trip!
We shall see if Simon stays dead and Mike has brought in a crossover simply to serve as cannon-fodder….
“Gee thanks for the order Ms. Mayor. It’s not like we investigate every single murder in the city already.” Sheesh, she’s about as intelligent as a certain President. It should have been “Make this the MCU’s highest priority.” That would have made sense.

Mayor Armstrong lost a good contributor to her campaign funds

Good morning™, guests of Mayor Armstrong!
I guess having a famous billionaire die in her city is bad for her reputation.
By the way, so yup, Staton and Curtis killed off a guest character from the DC universe.

Given how impermanent death can be in the Tracyverse, I wonder…

USUALLY, the cops know about a death before the paper prints it.

She almost looks sweet in panel 2 but I detect a ‘sting’ in her eyes, right before she goes bullistic in P. 3.

How did this individual ever get elected mayor? How about a little history on her?

FROM YESTERDAY@ NUN’YA BIDNESS:Also, you can make the copyright symbol by typing a letter c inside the left and right parentheses with no spaces.
I found that out the hard way, when I was attempting to create a newsletter for a non-profit organization within my church, and was trying to type 501 © 3. The © changed to a copyright symbol, and I had to go through extra steps to undo it. It does not seem to be doing the same thing here, as I type this, however. ???

I think it’s time for Tracy to move on. A guy like him should not have to work subordinate to someone like this mayor.

Maybe the mayor wants the MCU because isn’t this strip called Dick Tracy?
