4 days removed from Sunday’s strip which ended with a one panel profile shot of Polar Vortex accompanied by the ominious text “And what does this have to do with Polar Vortex? Find out tomorrow!”
Seems like the idea of a D & M film festival, based on the works of two guys that almost no one has heard of or remembers, would be a loser from the get go…
You know what confuses me? When Tracy killed Pauly, he then questioned Polar Vortex. He comes right out of the gate with the Russian Mob connection and throws it in Polar’s face which is, obviously, denied saying thats an “old life”
Apparently, Team Tracy is very adept at using Google to find this information on him so quickly, cuz i dont think Devil would have turned on Polar like that.. and even if she DID do you REALLY think that she knew about the Russian Mob thing?
Even MORE baffling, Tracy’s granddaughter was just kidnapped, and he is in the office not trying to find out any reason why, more than willing to accept Pauly’s “I did it for my dad” deathbed explanation
DOesnt seem to follow up the lead of the ice cream company being out of business for years or how Pauly came to get the truck or even how POLAR got his hands on it.
If Team Tracy is going to keep implying that Deacon is the one on the left (see last Sunday’s strip), and Peter Pitchblende is supposed to be Miller’s grandson but looks like Deacon, does that mean that Deacon had an affair with Miller’s wife, which produced one of Peter’s parents? (That’s a serious theory.)
By the way, Peter Pitchblende’s name and (presumably) likeness are based on cartoonist Donnie Ptchford – see http://www.dailycartoonist.com/index.php/2018/10/21/the-sunday-funnies-october-21-impressions/
While Kandikane and that old thespian rascal, Vitamin, are becoming family, the Deacon and Miller Film Festival will apparently bring out the worst in Piotr Volkov (who, in my wildest theorizing actually is the aged Miller). Too many things are still in the dark for us, however, so it’s hard to see where the storyline is leading or how its elements will come together….

Good morning™, older youths!
Vitamin announces a film festival. The plot is starting to come together. We still have no idea how Polar Vortex fits in, though.

Of course! The loose ends are coming together, and we have to put the expectant mother in danger at least once before resolving it all…

I keep thinking Deacon and Miller must be a reference to something real, but it’s not. The art looks like real people, too.

a man in a comic is talking about a comic he use to follow. either it’s poorly written and he means comedians or someone is smoking some dope.
