Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
They mentioned lithium specifically. Part of the story was the bad guysâ attempt to steal a shipment of lithium from Diet Smithâs warehouse.
Makes you wonder if they were actively researching Lithium as a lightweight high capacity battery material even back when Chet first came up with the wrist radio.
As long as her legs stay bent up behind the bar there should be no danger of going Splat ! Â Meanwhile the rescue brigade casually prepares to casually saunter out of the station.
If the plan was to have her killed when the building was demolished itâs not a great plan; I mean, donât they usually do an inspect of the building to make sure no oneâs around before they demolish it? Itâs not like they hid her someplace no one would find her.
I have made a start on my history of wrist devices. So far, I have figured out the dates when each one was introduced. Usually, it takes several days of strips to explain the capabilities of each new device. The date given in the chart is the first date of this sequence. Itâs usually the date when Diet Smith says, âI have something new.â The new wrist device is often not actually seen until the next day.
zip ties are impossible to break manually unless you have a razor or box cutter or some sort of wire cutters/tin snips handy.
And isnt it amazing that now all of a sudden the building has been revealed not ONLY to be a hotel set for demolition but it NOW has a name as well?
Team Tracy, and i mean mike and joe, passed up on a GREAT opportunity to showcase diet smith after a few months to give us the ludicrous addams family one off joke strip on sunday.
And im sorry but, if youre taking someone to an abandoned hotel set for demolition with the intent of killing them, WHY IN GODâS NAME would you hogtie them to the roof and HOPE they fall off instead of A) just shoving them off the roof or B) hiding them somewhere INSIDE the building where it would be much more difficult to find them?
1-DT: I think Iâll go watch âem blow up that old hotel downtown.
CHIIEF: Just how is that related to police work Tracy?
DT: Ummmm, criminals love destruction and maybe I can nab some while they watch?
CHIEF: Clever Tracy! Maybe you should go with him Sam. SAM: Nah.
2-PRIMM: Here I am about to die in an overly convoluted plot to kill me when a bullet and a dumpster would have done the trick. Theyâll find my body in the rubble soon. Theyâll be an autopsy. Only one thing left to doâŚ
Iâm guessing Frisky might croak from pneumonia. Koff, koff. And man I can hardly wait for the wrist radio history. Or maybe I could just go read the IDW Tracy History. Naw, let Neil do it, he evidently isnât too busy.
Frisk should try to wiggle her legs down to the level of the bar or below it, so that she can rasp the zip-tie against the metal bar and hope it frays and then breaks. Simply tugging against it and hoping it will break wonât cut it (pardon the pun). No doubt she is concerned that the energy of her struggles, should she break loose, might accidentally impel her over the slippery edge of the roof.
But none of that is likely to happen. Her hope, such as it is, lies with the languid Tracy. He is so casual about the whole rescue idea that I am surprised he didnât decide to walk to the Chandler!

Good morningâ˘, responders!
Okay, so we do have confirmation that the old hotel is supposed to be torn down soon. Congratulations to those who figured that out.
Frisk is still struggling, but I think she looks wetter. If she does break the ties, sheâd better be careful not to just slide off the wet roof.

I predict a Ye Gods! from Dick Tracy when he sees Friskâs predicament.

Doesnât Frisk remember that wrist device in her pocket that is somehow broadcasting a distress signal?

Looking at the bracket I think the straps are not the problem.

So their plan was to tie her there, hanging half off, with the idea theyâll come along and tear down the hotel without noticing her?
