As the old saying goes—“You call it ‘luck’.”“I call it ‘skill’”.Edison has been maddeningly in the background,but you can’t fail to notice how she treats SHaky 2 as if she doesn’t notice anything wrong with him.

There is only so much that we can know in life. Therefore, intelligence is inherently limited. However, ignorance knows no such bounds.

Panel 2 is a near duplicate of a Gould panel from the original story,just before their cold-water flat caught fire(“Turn out that light and let’s get some shut eye.We’re safe for tonight”) Wanna bet?

I love how Joe manages to get such perfect expressions with Shakey. That would not be an easy face to draw.

Shaky, my sad lad, you aren’t going to last long enough to put Tess (or anyone) on a perennial schedule. You’re going down, lame-o!

Edison, it’s time to move on before you get entrapped in this shaky scheme. Maybe Boyfriend Number Three (that we know of) won’t be such a loser as Roboto and Shaky: you need to find a more normal-looking guy!
