So, this story seems to moving towards a climax of a kind. Looking back, for a “police procedural” it wasn’t much of an investigation. For all intents & purposes, Tracy & the MCU really didn’t anything to crack the case, but it didn’t matter. They just had the incriminating evidence fall into their lap, after the secretary told them what she overheard. Dick Tracy is going from being the Great Detective to the Great Coffee Drinker.

I think Gweedo mentioned this a day or two ago and I agree; a shootout is coming soon methinks.

Tension mounts as the players take their positions. Lee’s hand looks more muscular than the chubby grubby in P.4. MC goofed on that hand too. I had work in deciding whose hand is in P.4. but with a little help from co posters, I am going with Van Duval.

Dick Tracy is going to have to stop broadcasting these comics live if he wants to catch the villains.

I’ve been critical of a few, so let me say that this comic is a fine example of graphical storytelling, both the writing and especially the art.

This is interesting, even if most of the interest is in the mechanics (art, coloring, storytelling, etc.) I must say I never realized that being an artist involved more danger from pot-shots than a cop!
