Whether he is spewing racial epithets or speaking out about the government and what HE plans to do about it [violent activity pending] this guy clearly does not belong in an organization where he will spread his poison and malcontent to his fellow soldiers thus undermining morale and even gathering supporters and a bunch of them could do real harm especially those who have access to weapons lockers.

The strip’s continued separation from reality as we know it. As I said yesterday, he would have been assigned to 68X behavioral health specialists, evaluated, counseled, and if counseling and / or medication failed to help would have been given a section 8.

The army doesn’t suggest to a dangerous nutjob, “Hey, we think it’d be better if you went home. We’ll send your discharge papers to you in a couple months.” The army is not a job flipping burgers for Wendy’s™.

Mind you, there are some service members with un-diagnosed mental health issues. They, of course, don’t get any help. But when Tracy and Liz are being told Jr. was obvious off the deep end this is a la-la land presentation of what would have happened.
