I’m sure there wouldn’t be anything left in those bowls if they had much bigger plates..

You could lose a hand if it got near the cake.

Verl is right – it’s ‘supper’, not ‘dinner’.

Casseroles and sheet cakes as far as the eye can see-and not a piece of fruit in sight.

I am shocked that they are even using plates! Napkins might be something they could learn to use, too.

Joy and Burl should be on opposite sides of the table to prevent them from hurting each other with their elbows…

There was an all you can eat buffet restaurant that my late wife and I used to dine at occasionally years ago. At best, we would make two trips to fill up our plates, and that was it. But almost every time we were in there, a table full of dullards like this lot would come in, bring their noisy kids who didn’t eat much and they ALL would go back anywhere from ten to fifteen times APIECE to reload. And the kids? The dullards brought plastic shopping bags with them, had the kids go fill up a plate and they would put it all in the shopping bag and take it home. So they paid for maybe a half dozen meals, but they ate or took home at least ten times that. Not surprisingly, the restaurant eventually went out of business. I asked the manager why the last time we were in there, and he said it was because of that greedy lot eating way more than they paid for. The restaurant was operating at a loss because they had a lot of “customers” like that, and the place was usually full. That’s why this lot continues to disgust me, and why I remain grateful that I long ago moved away from their part of the country.

You can almost hear the grunting at that table.
