How can it be counter-revolutionary? She is still wearing the Mao cap.

Classic Socialist Realism in painting :the naked Proletariat is marching toward the future and seems very pretty.

I read a book on fashion a while back talking about the Mao uniform fad in China—part of what happened is that “counter-revolutionary” garb was banned, but no two people could agree on what wasn’t counter-revolutionary except what Comrade Mao wore. So even though people theoretically had the freedom to choose what to wear within guidelines, in practice,99% of the population wore exactly the same thing.

Maybe the dude’s sunshade shouldN’t be the same color as his hair?

The words “Honey” and “decadent” create an oxymoron. Maybe I should change my screen name to Oxy Moron. Opinions welcomed.

I bought a Chairman Mao watch over there as a gift for a friend. It was a rather cheap piece of tin, so I told him it was for entertainment purposes only. Not telling time.
