This strip is ©1998 — a quarter century old. And yet look at how prescient it was about just how low somebody’s willing to stoop if all he cares about is his fragile ego and lust for mo’ money, mo’ money, mo’ money! Why, if this weren’t several years before the ubiquity of the Internet, I’ll bet he’d even be willing to start his own social-media network where he could whine about how poor, poor him was being picked on by all sorts of irrational enemies and please send money.

Somehow the world would be such a dull place without these hardcore, sob capitalist like Duke. I mean, what would the media do?

Much as Duke disliked John Denver (see other arcs) he should thank him for driving up property values in Colorado.

Prove “Elvis Lives” and sell it to him.
