Recently in the comments section there was a lot of ridicule of J.J. for being an artist whose work the readers in question didn’t like (or else they didn’t consider being an artist to be legitimate “work”). Unlike Mike, however, J.J. provides a real product that customers see, like and actually pay for. (She also doesn’t have Mike’s gift of summer day dreams that come true along a ready source of funding like Bernie – she just had to put in the work as well as doing taxi driving gigs during the down time.)
