Rowland later sold out to FOX News. Not really surprising. “Journalist” like Rowland Hedley are capable of tailoring their output to accommodate the party line of anyone who pays him.

I googled “Fox News evil” and found “The New Axis of Evil only on Fox Nation”. The subject was “State-sponsored terrorist groups and nuclear-armed authoritarian regimes are teaming up to challenge the free world.” Fox News failed to report on the Fox News partnership with the authoritarian regime of Donald “34 felony counts” Trump’s Axis of Evil!

How prescient was this strip?

I get more complete truth on Fox News than the others.

For example, at Trump’s attempted assassination CNN’s lead story was that Trump was taken off stage due to a “loud noise”.

Yeah, we know Faux news all right!

Whereas FOX showed nothing on Jan 6 until it was edited.

Every side thinks they’re at war with evil. That’s how megalomaniacs control the masses.

FOX ‘news’ lawyers defended themselves in court and won the right to lie under our 1st Amendment. They started with Beck, O’Reilly and Ailes and sunk lower with Carlson. When the pressure was on Hannity, demonstrating no backbone at all, openly admitted he is an entertainer, not a journalist. That’s all FOX ‘news’ has now, on air personalities meant to entertain, not inform. FOX ‘news’ has no journalists since Chris Wallace left, and he was a contract hire, not an employee. He cited FOX ‘news’ lack of truths for leaving.

Later in the Doonesbury timeline, Roland switches to Fox News.

LOL none of the networks were at war with fox, they treated fox as a respected newcomer and gave them all the leeway they needed to poison the minds of an entire generation of people.

Basically, you want to change to another force that is not currently getting pounded by B-52s and special forces-assisted government troops.
