I’ve had many generations of iphones. I think the number of pictures I’ve taken greatly exceeds the number of phone calls I have made or received. Very happy now that the new iphones come with multiple lenses.
It’s a no-win situation. If you spend your trip taking pictures, you miss out on the experience. But if you don’t then you have no pictures to look at and share afterward.
I guess the solution is to hire someone to tag along and photograph your trip so you can enjoy it and also have photos. Sadly, only very rich people can afford that option.
Why didn’t Ralph just take pictures with the camera phone, then keep the phone away from Norman? I’m willing to bet that Norman is on Ralph’s phone plan.
That was like my wife when we traveled all over. She would have her nose in a book while i drove and i would have to tell her to look at something real nice, then she would miss it . Good part was She didn’t run off at the mouth all the time and distract my driving!

If you threw it…..the echo in the mountains would probably throw it back.

Don’t worry, Ralph!! I think that Mr. Ranger might overlook it — this time!!

I don’t blame Ralph. I’m a tech junkie too, but even I take time to appreciate the outdoors because nature is what truly sustains us.

Lacking large carnivorous animals, the selfie has become a major force in thinning the herd.

It’s the thought that counts. Right?
There’s also the thought: “These phones aren’t exactly cheap …”

He could have at least used the phone camera to take a picture, so he could see what he missed later.

Taking it away serves the purpose, so instead of tossing it and losing the cost of the phone, just don’t give it back!
