A lot of possibilities present themselves here. I really enjoyed the various tracks of yesterday’s inputs. I does look like there’s a slight smile on Maude’s face.
We all want to help Aaron Neathery, each in our own way. If you think Endtown is great but you don’t have the resources to support it financially, there’s nothing stopping you from helping get it more well known. Tell people how fantastic it is. Write letter after letter. To whom? Well, use your imagination: Your local newspaper, your favourite blogs, Dark Horse books, Oprah, Time magazine. It’s all message-in-a-bottle stuff, but sometimes something will just pay off. Wouldn’t you like to be the person whose slim chance actually hit the big time?
As an Australian, I can tell you the best chocolate cakes have one secret ingredient: koala snot. But you just can’t get it these days. It’s so rare, Linda would have to be extremely lucky to find someone with an unused jar of it hidden away in a cupboard somewhere. Hmm… suggestions, anyone?
In the words of Marie Antoinette, “Let them eat cake.”^^Actually there is no proof that Marie Antoinette ever said any such thing. That is an Urban Legend, like the one about lemmings jumping off cliffs, it never happened.
I have been in contact with Aaron and he says he has a car and I have been nagging him that there is only so much magic I can collect and forward that he Needs to WALK and get that leg in better shape. H won’t be able to drive as long as this leg flairs up.He has been in his room working on the script. almost constantly so I am told. Yes. That urgent. We need, as a group ,to send him our power of love and determination and let him know we support him .To get him exercising that leg so It will not need to be amputated. That is the cure for that leg if antibiotics don’t clear it up permanently. I love you Aaron and your friends need to know this.Blessed Be
“Want to feel useful?”Aaron is building up hospital bills, and can’t afford insurance. Anything you can do to help out, money-wise or not, will make it more likely that Endtown will keep going through these difficult times.
shouldnt be surprising that “impure humans” would be in relationships with anthros. they may have been couples before the apocolypse. Look at Albert and Gustine.
RODNEY….That’s where you went. I too once worked for the CIA. At least that’s not what they told me but what can you say when your combat team leader is a civilian operating deep behind enemy lines in another country. As he would say I am not here and I do not exist.I see 1984 occurring. All the “farm” animals are going to rise in revolution. They can provide “food” for Endtown so they want all the control over Endtown. If the council does not relinquish power then the “farm” animals give no product.“Where’s the Beef?” Let them eat BEANS.
How about a crowd funding campaign like Kick starter or Indiegogo? Somebody close to Aaron should talk to him about it. It could raise enough to at least help in the short term. And Aaron’s art would make great perks for donors.
Keeping Aaron in prayer for full healing! This strip has been amazing. I was away for some time and when I came back (and read all the strips I missed), I still found the strip just as powerful and captivating as from Day 1.
Aaron, I know you have such a strong commitment to your Endtown fans, but we also need you to focus on your healing. We’re not going anywhere, believe me! ;) Just read all the wonderful comments here every day – this is truly an Endtown Family! :) You have something absolutely unique and original here, and Jenner is right – this needs to be shared with everyone we know!
Be well and blessings always, Aaron! And to our Endtown Family – blessings and good health to everyone in this New Year!
and were NOT going to lose Aaron! If we keep negative thoughts out send positive energy, prayers, (and money, he needs it), Aaron will be just fine. and so will Endtown
Delurking just to ask — is Aaron an Amazon affiliate? I don’t see an affiliate code on his Amazon.com link here on GoComics.
Basically, if he signs up to be an Amazon.com affiliate, and puts their special code in any Amazon.com links he (or one of us) posts, then a portion of all sales coming from that link go to him, whether they’re buying his books or not.
The reason I’m asking is that I’m planning a big Amazon purchase soon (got a gift card, so I’m picking up a bunch of books, some nice board games like Castle Panic, etc), and Aaron’s books. But if I could use an affiliate link, and have a portion of ALL of it go to Aaron as well, I’d do that in a heartbeat (and I’d be happy to hold off on said purchase until he’s signed up)!
Aaron, if you’re there, sign up and let me send you my money! :) (oh, and get well soon, of course!)
(I’ve also mentioned it via my Facebook, trying to spread the word as much as I can. Endtown rocks, and I’m happy to do my bit to help out!)
I have rarely found a comic where I want to go back and read all the past strips. Lio I think is the first and last one. Well now I have found another.
I haven’t seen what seems an obvious way to me to support “Endtown” and Mr. Neathery—-pay your money and subscribe to it through GoComics. I do, and I suspect some of the rest of you do, too. I can’t speak of whether there’s any financial gain to be had, I know nothing of their financial arrangements, but at least we can make “Endtown” a popular feature.
Getting back to the story: In yesterday’s panel, the hen looked worried or scared, yet nobody mentioned this. Why would she have these feelings? What is the moral code that meeds to be addressed? I see actions by compassionate people ( all female, by the way) to tend to a distressed human being. I expect to see some kind of turmoil to occur when the cake is made. This would be the real core of the story as I see it. We may be in for just the beginning of a great ride. For this purpose, we need to do what we can to help Aaron get better.Aaron, I’ll send you an e-mail about an idea.

LOVE Maude’s snoring, and the couple portrait on the wall. I’m really beginning to like Linda. She’s really moving forward!
