He did not start it. Just a rock chunker. His look is" Oh we are going to stop now? No more “TAK?”What it does show is NOW Endtowners are ready to get those responsible. The bottle tosser for one. Not to punish as it was in the spur of the moment but to hold accountable. Endtowners now have shown they can come back from the abyss. Get folks calmed down and now begin to work it out.Tempers always flare but reason can prevail.Underground sounds fine. I will see if I can make it.

It looks like glasses rat might be on the right edge. If they were plain clothes, do they blend in? So maybe there might be some rats who live there? My internet connection was down, and it looks like my modem is saying it’s down again. So this may not go thru. I just had it worked on, monitor troubles, no this.

Maybe it an anteater, I guess he is too tall, and not enough whiskers to be a rat.

I feel the urge to run through a summary. Let me see…we’re faced with death and civil unrest in Endtown, provoked by high-handed behavior by the Security Rats, who were there because of arguments among the Endtowners, over the trial of three residents of Endtown for use or misuse of Endtowner milk and eggs, which came about because one of these residents did something nice for an old man with said milk and eggs…which came about because this particular resident came to Endtown in the first place.#Along the way, we’ve found the Mallard no longer has influence over the Security Rats, the Endtown High Council is out of control and dominated by one particular faction, and that several people we’ve met along the way seem to be playing their own game among all this activity.#We’re faced with several mysteries, but I think the greatest is why the High Council is so adamant the trial of Linda, Maude, and Holly continue without interruption.

Actually everything has been driven by the High Council’s arresting our three ladies for something that, while taboo, is not illegal. The council also seems to have disbanded the old police force and has sent the rats downstairs to handle every purse snatching and bar fight that crops up. The rats are a paramilitary security force and are not trained in the niceIties required to deal effectively with the general public. They have unintentionally antagonized the populace to the point where the they were ready to revolt at the slightest provocation. That provocation came when a thrown bottle caused an accidental discharge of a firearm leading to the death of Spike. Now we have the locals on the edge down below. The rats up above wondering what to do and the High Council seemingly more concerned about this trial than about the security of Endtown.I see three possibilities. It could be that the trial is the most important thing to whomever or whatever is controlling the High Council. They want mutant food products banned at all costs either because they are morally offended by the idea, or because they stand to gain from it somehow. The massacre is the most important thing. Whomever is controlling & speaking for the High Council is looking for a pretext to stay in power using martial law. The trial was used to sow divisions among the populace and the rats were sent in to aggravate the population to the point where something like the Endtown Massacre was inevitable. The High Council is keeping the rats out of endtown in hopes that the rioters will turn on each other and create a situation where people will be ready to do anything for a little peace and order. Both the trial and the massacre are part of the same plan. The High Council is using the trial to have mutant products banned, possibly for economic gain and are using the massacre to gain political power. No matter how you slice it, it seems like Velda is a key player, if not THE key player in this plot. If she was someone of wealth and power who lost everything when civilization went to heck in a handbasket, she may be using this to get some of what she once had. I hope she gets what’s coming to her.

Fear of Flask and her minions may have kept the criminal element at bay. Now with Flask gone a gap in the security had arrived allowing folks like Velda and whoever she is working for to take over. The Rats may suspect but who do they go to???? The ones in control who tell them what they want them to know. Where Flask would have taken control there is no one there for them now. I believe that void was taken by Velda as the Police Liaison speaking on behalf of the council.
