I’m wondering what’s going on in Holly’s mind. She seems better than she was, not crazy or anything like that but she gives the impression of being seriously pissed. Is she going through the 5 stages of grief? She earlier denied that Clive was endangering them and needed to be left behind, now is she moving on to anger at Wally for not supporting her need to keep Clive? The other possibility is that she’s upset at Wally for abandoning her for Kirbee. I’m not sure that he has but I think she feels that way.
I feel so bad about Holly. I would have thought all this interesting and scary stuff would have snapped her out of her insanity. She is suffering so bad. And without medication she is not going to get better.Wally is sure a smart cat, looking at his technical design, actually Aaron’s design, is clever.Kirby has improved so much. Not ditzy, getting out of Unity was good for her. It would have gotten anyone nuts, and had.It has been so good to see Chic being held so close and so protected and almost swaddled by Kirbee, he has never had enough love and physical contact so important for normal and emotional health. It’s so heart warming to see him getting that love he has not had.too bad that Holly didn’t see Chic as the baby. He is way cuter and needy than Clive, and much needier.
Sad, but since I imagine there aren’t too many Mental Facilities or doctors/medications available in this wonderful future, it’s probably better off for everybody (including Holly) if she jumps too go find her Clive/baby.
She is obviously walking back to solid ground. Note the gradient where the dittos thin out, and the edge begins. There is no gradient at the other end, above the abyss. In the frame showing Holly stalking off, the gradient is under her feet, and the white sand begins thereafter. If she was walking off the edge of the platform, there would be no gradient, and there would be a vast gaping pit before her, not the super-fine white sand of the empty waste.
Thank you JusSayin and Jenner – I’ve been so concerned that I hadn’t seen posts by Level_Head. All my best wishes to him for a full, speedy recovery. I hope to read his clever poems again sometime soon!
Holly has just lost another “baby”. She was unable go protect Clive. I’d thought at first Holly was angry about the dialogue between Kirbee and an suddenly self-satisfied Wally (who is just caught up in the mental exercise). I’d first thought she was annoyed how they have moved on past the loss of Clive. Now I think Holly is still not dealing well with the loss her origjnal baby AND Clive, the “substitute”.
Voice over announcer“Holly is stepping up to the edge of the platform. She is attempting a triple summersault with a twist. This has a 10 on the difficulty level.Mind you however she really needs to stick the entry for maximum points.”
I’m with Wentil, looks like she’s marching off the bridge and onto solid (semi solid?) ground, away from the group. Whether she turns around and gives Wally a tongue lashing or keeps on going, well, that’s up to Aaron. Maybe she’s heading back to endtown.
Personally I am sick of Holly. Anyone that watches Post-apocalyptic shows knows that if you don’t get it together, you cause the deaths of others who are trying to take care of your sorry butt. They’re going to have to cut her loose soon.

At least it’s a few less pounds on the platform.

I think that in spite of all that’s happened this shows Holly’s absolute trust in Wally.

Looks like the walk away, the cold shoulder, the “this is the final straw” thing.

It looks like Holly is walking towards the posts and the sand. Not off the ledge. I don’t think she’s jumping. Just moving on
