Judging from past comments about the rabbit, he seems to be showing wisdom well beyond his ears!

Not sure who that wolf is supposed to portray with those comments or the way the paper was written. Though I have my thoughts.

The best way to deal with a wannabe martyr is to deny them their martyrdom.

Fear prophets and those prepared to die for the truth, for as a rule they make many others die with them, often before them, at times instead of them. -Umberto Eco, philosopher and novelist (5 Jan 1932-2016)

Well, as the old saying goes: “If you can’t kill ’em with kindness, drown them in sarcasm.” ;-)

buddy, the only reason “martyrs live forever” is usually because they die through a huge spectacle. You could just as easily get “dragged out behind the shed” and pulverized, and left forgotten.

Here’s hoping Dottie is allowed to explain that her journalistic effort was compromised by the wolves on her staff. I think she had misguided good intentions. Lucas can go take a long walk off a short pier.

Dottie is reaping what she’s sown, and it’s a bitter harvest indeed.

Dottie looks like she’s definitely had enough of the ear-bashing wolf. Time to stand up for herself.

Jacob’s words are an example of irony in its classical definition – a statement that can be read for what it is by one audience, but means the opposite to another audience.

The wolf is so proud of the quotes. Dottie is so not.

Of course the situation was manipulated—-Dottie, pushed away from her editorial responsibilities at The Daily Fang to participate in that sham trial, would certainly have kept things in check and the resulting newspaper wouldn’t have printed wolf propaganda as news. So who was the manipulator?

Yes, Jacob is pretty much saying that her editorializing is just a sloppy as her reporting. It’s safe to say that her career in the media business is finished. I believe Jacob will giver her a chance to explain. But will Lucas? He may try and talk over her if she says something he doesn’t want to hear… like, the truth.

But, you know? I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacob offers Dottie a chance to save herself. After all, there’s still the matter of the fake news reports about the food shortage.

I’m just waiting for Dottie to go ahead and explain that the newspaper project fell out of her control and got vandalized by people who had no idea what they were meant to do.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacob were to give Lucas a chance to give a satisfactory explanation or be executed. I mean, if Lucas remains an unreformed radical, how can he be let loose into the town again?

Regardless of whether or not the wolves are behind the cannibal attacks, we’ve seen enough to be sure that wolves are not innocent. A rowdy bunch of wolves gathered around Heather’s laundry. Wolves started the riot at the laundry, by throwing a cop.and a wolf with a club chased her inside the laundry. The last we see of that wolf, he was looking at bottles of accelerant, just before a match flares; and there is an apparent explosion. Wolves started the riot at the laundry, by throwing a cop—which is not how Dottie’s story reads, according to her headline. The same two wolves who have been stalking Heather continue following her. The one with a cap followed her into an alley with violent intent (in his own words…she’s going to get a taste of justice. He ended up with his hat and everything under it fatally dented by a brick. Later, Lucas seems to be the wolf in the pub who tries to intimidate the other animals with a toothy grin and fails. Lucas is the one who first printed “The Wolf Manifesto” (12 copies) to paste up around town. Lucas grabs “Assistant Editor” spot on Dottie’s paper. Lucas has a “lot of essays” that can be put into the paper.Wolves rioted after Heather was found not guilty. Wolves hung the Heather’s lawyer.Lucas gloated over the corpse and took pictures of it. Wolves made a parade decoration out of Heather’s corpse and walked it around town. Now Lucas is in front of Jacob; and I want to hear who’s feeding Lucas. I think Lucas is someone else’s tool.
