They were ALWAYS griping. That was their main issue.

It’s that darned tree-of-knowledge thing again.

America today? Probably rejected all 10 outright.

This one got me curious enough to look up the actual text of the 10 Commandments, which I haven’t consulted in a while. I determined that I’ve done pretty well with numbers 5 – 10. As an atheist and non-observant Jew, numbers 1 – 4 don’t enter into my life much.

I have, however, always been a strict observer of number 11: “Thou shalt not divide by zero” (courtesy of my 6th grade math teacher).

The 10 Commandments are meaningless. Jesus brought a new covenant that swept away all of Jewish law. Jesus gave us one rule: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” (John 13:34).

Those are the worst-fitting sandals I think I’ve ever seen!

I’m gonna guess the counter-offer was rejected.
