That’s a logical argument if ever I heard one, and it’s the reason that my room today looks a lot like Michael’s — and I’m a 51-year-old man! LOL

Exactly the reason I gave my parents for not shoveling the snow in the winter. Give it enough time, it will melt. It always does.

Same question I have about making the bed. I’m just going to sleep in it again tonight.

My reasoning, too. It didn’t work!

Why would we eat ad drink, or sleep?In a while I’ll be hungry, thirsty and sleepy again anyway.

After a while, the mess accumulates to the unusable state. Clean rooms are easier and more fun to play in.

You clean it up to ensure there aren’t any roach nests hiding under your stuff.

Too much stuff not used time to downsize. I told my kids little older to have a treasure hunt see what they could find and they did pick up a lot of trash, then could not wait to show off their clean room. I praised them. I have boy and girl.

It should be sufficient “punishment” that Michael has to clean his room, anyway.

What’s with all the messy room jokes lately? First, it was “Baby Blues” three days ago, then “Luann” yesterday, and now this one!

“Then maybe we shouldn’t buy you all these toys. You just scatter them all over your room.” That parents logic there.

I love getting into a nicely made bed every night!!!!!

The “Hoarders” television show inspires me to keep every single room in my house nice and neat!!!

Ya think? LOL Actually, I’m more the “I’ll clean the place when it gets so bad that even I can’t stand to look at the mess anymore” type.

My father was a bit different than John. His attitude was, “You do my will, you eat my bread”. I was living on his property, I lived by his rules.
