I remember my dad’s “dives”: He would bounce on the board a few times, looking all “pro”, then, with a final push, he would land on the board on his butt and fling himself into the water in something that was kind of a cross between a cannonball and a belly-flop. It was hilarious; I’d give anything to see it again.
