Speaking of messing up, that’s why St. Peter is one of my favorite saints. It seems like Jesus has him on the carpet for some kind of problem almost every other Gospel.
Peter has to be told things three times before he “gets it.” He was voted Most Clueless Apostle 33 AD.
So if a screw-up like Peter can make it, so can I.

There’s ALWAYS tomorrow ?
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father”. (Matthew 24:36)
You should know better, Your Holiness.

An opportunity to learn from our own choices? To discover the way we should go?
To be co-creators with the Creator? If the idea of becoming the likenesses of God means anything, I think it at least means that.Thank you for another thought-provoking offering. A good thing in a small (three-panel) package.

I guess Leo is a Franciscan, not a Jesuit. I’m still surprised he didn’t know about the Daily Examen, though.

It’s hard to conceive of Leo really messing up. Maybe missing confession one day?
