Ha! I thought I was going to make a great “Wells Fargo” joke, but it appears everybody in the world beat me to it. Their reputation precedes them! Thanks for all the jokes, all you who were quicker on the draw than I was. Wait a minute…
Back in the’ ‘50s, a new bank was opening, with the inducement of no charges even if a (rather small) minimum were maintained. Through five different acquisitions, we are still part of the liabilities new owners take on when buying. That is now Wells Fargo. We keep only the minimum in the account and deposit enough to cover any checks we write. Because of the original agreement, they can’t cancel or charge us. Our way of fighting that part of the fight.

Obviously he tried to rob Wells Fargo. They’re far better thieves than he’ll ever be.

Oddly, this strip was in yesterday’s paper here. This strip has been giving me flashes of déja vu all week.
