Question about tollbooths, I drove to Orlando about a month ago. Drove though a toll booth twice that said "Don"t Stop", what happened? I got no bills?
The world has gone from, “We’ll get rid of tolls when the highway bond is paid”, to “What a great way to collect more revenue without raising taxes! We’re adding more tolls.”
we were smiling once again yesterday as we pulled up to the exit toll booth and alertly noted the guy who’d passed us so eagerly still trying to pay his bill as we coasted past the electronic toll booth (and him). my driving teacher instructor really was right when she told me that studies have shown that passing other vehicles will get you to your destination five minutes faster, if that, maybe. a couple minutes later, we also caught up to the guy in the black beamer who’d passed us a long while earlier, now stuck behind a slow-moving truck…
