I never complained about going on vacation when I was kid. It was a big highlight. Do kids complain about that now?

Why would she complain about a vacation>

It never ceases to amaze me how many different kids Mallett can crank out by using the exact same basic body and accessorizing.

I hated family vacations as a kid. Mom was never satisfied with places to see, places to eat, places to stay. The rest of us were constantly trying to placate her. Never saw the point, easier to stay home, more relaxing to stay in routine. But I would hate to be quarantined with her.

‘persistent’ might be a better choice of words

Kid sees a negative as a positive. And one that she an live up to without much effort. Nice move

Some people can’t be happy unless they have something to complain about.

I have three counterexamples. All three moved out on their own and are great friends with us.

I’m not so much into “go on vacation” as “stay on vacation”. Don’t get me wrong. I’m actually fairly fond of being in interesting new places, it’s the getting there that makes me nuts.

Kids are the best contraceptives.

Maybe she’s just demonstrating the tendency to want what you can’t have (ask Adam & Eve how that worked out).
