One day I drove to the north end of town, walked into the front of the mall and out the back, rented a cab to the west end, walked about a half a mile, then took a bus to the airport and another cab to the park, and the sign said, “You are here.” How do they do that?!
When I flew abroad I used to wear a t-shirt with a drawing of a galaxy and two signs: “You are here” and “You luggage is there.” in memory of me arriving in Paris and my suitcase arriving in Frankfurt and being blown up by security (do you know that a metal box of Cadburry sweets can look like a mine to nervous security?).

As an ex hippie, I’ve always been amused by the concept of “trail head”.

Same ones were on radio. “You’re listening to the ABC Radio Nitwit.” How could they know that?

On and on
He just keeps on trying
And he smiles when he feels like crying
On and on, on and on, on and on
