I have a grandfathers clock that doesn’t chime well, so I set up a computer and it does the Big Ben chimes and around the holidays it plays Christmas Music.
I’m one of the people who complains about Christmas music. There’s great Christmas music, but they don’t play that. They play the same bad pop songs every year, starting in October.
Earbuds also let you listen to the Christmas music you like (assuming there is some). When people complain about Christmas music, I always have to remind myself that the Christmas music they hate having to listen to probably isn’t the Christmas music I love listening to, or whatever Christmas music they might potentially like to listen to.
I don’t normally pay any mind to toons having no visible ear holes, but today Caulfield calls my attention to it. It’s as jarring as watching Dilbert eat.

You can’t hear the complainers without hearing the Christmas music also.

Smart move. Caulfield is as usual ahead of the game.

I feel bad for anyone who works at a radio station that plays 24/7 Christmas music starting the day after Thanksgiving.

Both can be true. I haven’t actually noticed the Christmas muzic much this year, since I’m uzually listening to a podcast while shopping.
