Yep. He’ll start to tell me, realize he can’t remember, then I’ll have him give me any thoughts on a scene or two from the movie/show/whatever & there it is! So far, I haven’t done that badly at remembering, either to tell him, or, remember for him!!
“I knew if I thought about it long enough, you’d remember!”
My wife and I suffer from what I call “proper noun syndrome”. We know what we are talking about in great detail but just can’t think of the names of people, places and things. That can really inhibit a conversation.
Last week I saw an episode of A Place to Call Home, an episode of Janet King and then last night “Ellie and Abbie and Ellie’s Dead Aunt”. All with Marta Dusseldorp in a lead role. She is very good, IMO
I remember a strip in which Fred and the Dears were watching a western and none of them could agree on who a character was. Mrs Dear thought the character was one of the rustlers, Mr Dear thought it was one of the ranchers and Fred thought it was one of the lawmen!
