I take it the tea was cold. It could have been nasty.

Wow! Mr. Dear put an unfortunate series of events into play. Poor Dear smacked with a rake, and Mrs. D takes a header with a pot of hot tea that lands on you, Fred. I’m pretty sure that rake left an impression, and Mrs. Dear probably has some bumps and bruises. I betcha Dear will make sure his rake is way out of the way from now on. Lesson learned the hard and painful way.

Was today’s episode written by Lemony Snicket??? :)

I am astouned that the neighbors just stand there and not jump into action to help and see if someone got seriously hurt. Glad you all are well, Fred! Phew!!!

What a perfect storm! That’s why you always put things like rakes safely out of the way if you aren’t using them.

Mutt had it easier – just him and a cop (investigating the prowler Mutt thought it was) smacked with the rake.
