Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The FDA has banned the sale of pipefish and Iāve already rummaged through my sock AND junk drawers. And everything in there would put me in DIS-favor at the big āWelcome Back to Regularityā party for Frog Applause.
They used to call me āFearless Fossickā as I rummaged through the Froglandia Department of Minutiae Weekly Meeting Minutes in search of the least important information possible.
Speaking of party favors, what is that rolled-up paper thingy that one blows into and then it unfurls and coils back up. I canāt remember if the thing toots or not. Itās been awhile since Iāve seen or used one. Does it have a name?
āPicknicking? Picknicking, Miss Dandridge.ā http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/video/237893/She-Wore-A-Yellow-Ribbon-Movie-Clip-Picknicking-.html āFossicking? Fossicking, Miss Dandridge.ā
The path was well marked, though not well traveled. It might become lost later on, as the snow deepened or blew over it in elegant drifts, intricately sculpted by the wind. But that wouldnāt be for many hours, and I hadnāt that far to go. Nobody in Froglandia went far on foot in this season. Storms could blow up in minutes, from a clear sky, and bury everything in mounds of white. A proper storm could halt everything for days. Visibility would be nearly zero for the first two or three hours, and not much better for the next two or three, and more if the wind picked up and the temperature dropped, as it often did. Entertaining oneās self at home became the most important consideration during these times.
Is it possible to call a Pipefish-On-A-Stick a Fossickle ā¦? I guess you could with the appropriate FDA/FA literary/culinary franchising/manufacturing gun and liquor license ā¦ patent pending, of course ā¦.
I remember going to a party as a kid. The family wasnāt very rich, I guess, and one of our party favors was gravel scooped up from their driveway. We were told they were āmoon rocksā. I might have fallen for the story, too, if I hadnāt seen Patrickās mother putting the rocks in sandwich baggies.
Apparently, itās National Compliment Day. #nationalcomplimentday (Twitter). GoComics is celebrating it, too. Iād rather celebrate you, Teresa. Thank you for all you do every day for us. Thank you for Frog Applause. Thank you for bringing us our daily dose of lame. I for one am a lamer person because of you. Thank you, thank you. (I hope thereās a compliment somewhere in there.)

Know what, that is my wine glass you are drinking from. It has the pipefish ring I fossicked for signifying it is mine, and I licked it.

Those pipefishā¦ some mighty weird-looking fish.

I just go boldly up to the snack table and wolf down a few pipefish. Itās what I like to call a fearless fosick.

Why is it āfossickingā and not āfossilingā?

NOTICE:
FAAS is back up for Viewing Only until Larry is able to come up with a solution to the signing-in problem that keeps the site from being updated.
Thank you for your patience.

Knowing how to get out of your own way is pretty sage advice, kittyboots, that and choosing the appropriate disguise.

When does collecting end and hoarding begin?
Is there any overlap?
How much?

Flavors and favors, or try it Canadian style: favours and flavours.

I rarely lick pipefish. But when I do, itās Froglandia born-and-bred pipefish, fossicked from Lake Froglandiaā¦.
Or not, if that effort to cover all bases seemed too lameā¦.
