This cartoon is based on a true story. I went on a tour to Nova Scotia this summer. We stopped at a tourist trap for lunch and I was so glad that we did. A nice man was playing with his tiny puppy that could barely walk. The puppy was delighted with the flowers. The man told me that the puppy had recently tripped over a dandelion.
Adorable. And we are expecting 2-4 inches of snow tonight. With a forecast of more on Saturday. Somebody forgot that this is spring not winter in January.
New avatar of Bunny and her working buddy Summer, a golden retriever. In the picture, taken during the early covid mess, the two dogs were in the main hallway, trying to get attention. The golden got tired, as usual, and Bunny curled up with her while watching the door for new “customers” to pet them. At that time, we were not allowed on the patient floors due to the pandemic.

New here, but have to say just how struck I am by this heart-filled, lovely strip.
Dogs† open our hearts so very wide — so wide I am sometimes surprised they stay in our chests.
† cats, too… but on their own terms and timelines, I suspect.

Reminds me of the family dog when he was a puppy: he would pounce up and down like a stag in the garden. He has curled ears too by the way.
