I was trying to single out the funniest lines from today’s strip, and finally decided that they were all great! Any complaints about today, just stop looking at this comic, because you have NO sense of humor, so let the rest of us enjoy it in peace! And, Thank You JIM!
I just wish they’d drop Walt off, so we didn’t have to see him pass. It has to be any time now: he’s old enough to be in the top ten oldest living human beings.
I suspect that we have about four more years with Walt. Come Nov of 2018 the strip will be 100 years old. That would seem an appropriate time to retire him and hand the strip down to the younger generations (hopefully for another century.)
What a fun strip! I love seeing a reference to the radio classic “Lum and Abner”! And I invite everyone here to the “Lum and Abner” comic strip! We also have an audio version, created with our blind friends in mind:See and hear “Lum and Abner” hereAnd on GoComics:Lum and Abner
