Alley Cats – Our buddy MJ shared sheet music to “Skeezix” a couple of weeks ago … and I am delighted to announce that a good friend of mine has agreed to play it for us and will share a video that will be posted on our Alley Cats of Gasoline Alley facebook page later this week. This friend is a Juilliard-trained pianist who has performed all over the world, so this won’t be no rinky-tink bit by any means. Stay tuned, and if there are any fans of the “vintage” GA who have not already made the move to join us on Facebook, please consider doing so.
I’m not sure Rick has that much room to talk, as he and Deuces wandered into a ghost town and just took over Conniption almost three years ago.
But Comandante El Fido and his forces have come to offer the latest challenge to capitalist pig rule over the ancient and sacred lands of their ancestors.
OOPs, he’s dead. Like Clancy’s Cardinal of the Kremlin – he used to dream of talking to a soldier who died long ago. One day the dream seemed very real. Next scene was the Cardinal’s burial.

On Easter Sunday 1970, Virgil has a shaggy rabbit story for Adam and Eve.
(Or is it a fluffy rabbit story? A furry rabbit story? Did every kid back then go to 4-H Club meetings and learn the birthing habits of rabbits??)
Anyway, it happened 51 years ago today in the Alley:

Walt’s “Pie Eyes” are really unnerving, especially since it’s a different art style than the other characters.

It looks like Walt is going to head over to the old comics home.
